WHITECOURT FISH & GAME ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
The Whitecourt Fish and Game Association are a group of individuals interested in the welfare and conservation of wildlife habitat.
Whitecourt Fish & Game Association award four (4) scholarships once a year valued at $1,000 each to four (4) individuals entering into a post secondary program of their choice.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Any student who is graduating from high school, an adult upgrading program, registered in a post secondary institution, or an accredited correspondence institution. Students residing within the Whitecourt, Peers, Blue Ridge, Swan Hills, Fox Creek and Mayerthorpe areas are eligible. Preference will be given to students who are entering an environmental resource field. Membership of a Fish and Game Association is not a requirement to apply.
HOW TO APPLY?
Download and complete application form with one letter of reference from a non-related person. Include a letter stating your goals, interests and motivation. Include proof of registration from an accredited institution. Mail completed applications to the address below. Applications must be postmarked no later than June 15th.

The scholarship committee will review letters and applications. Applicant’s financial need, participation in community activities, responsibility and motivation will all be considered. The scholarship will be paid with a cheque for $1,000.00 to each of the successful applicants. Only successful applicants will be contacted.
