WHITECOURT FISH & GAME ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
The Whitecourt Fish and Game Association are a group of individuals interested in the welfare and conservation of wildlife habitat.
The WFGA gives out two scholarships once a year valued at $1,000 each to two individuals entering into a post secondary program of their choice and supports the endeavors of the association.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Any student who is graduating from high school, an adult upgrading program, students registered in a post secondary institution, or an accredited correspondence institution. Students residing within the Whitecourt, Peers, Blue Ridge, Swan Hills, Fox Creek and Mayerthorpe areas are eligible. Preference will be given to students who are entering a resource field. Membership of a fish and game association is not a requirement to apply, nor does membership preclude applying.
HOW TO APPLY?
Download and complete application form and mail to the address below. Applications must be postmarked no later than June 15th.

The scholarship committee will review letters and applications for financial need, participation in community activities, responsibility, and motivation. The scholarship will be paid in a check of $1000 each to the successful applicants upon proof of registration (letter from registrar) in the program of their choice.
